Record an episode only if it's scheduled to start
between these times โ not the length of the programme itself:

blank uses the global default from โบ Recording settings.
Repeats of this title outside the window/days above (e.g. a
3am rebroadcast) are skipped โ there's no episode id in this guide to tell them apart otherwise.
๐ How series links work
A series link auto-records a title whenever it airs inside a fixed day-of-week +
time window โ e.g. "Mr Perfect, TueโThu, 20:00โ21:00". Only the programme's own
scheduled start time needs to fall inside that window; how long it runs
doesn't matter.
Systems like broadcast DVB guides, Plex, Jellyfin, or Tvheadend can tell an original
airing apart from a rerun because their programme data carries a unique episode/series id
and often an explicit "repeat" flag. This panel's guide doesn't โ every
entry is just a title, a start time, and an end time, nothing more. A plain title match
would happily record the 3am repeat of the same show too. The day/time window is what
stands in for that missing metadata: it isn't identifying episodes, it's just excluding
times you don't want.
What that trade-off means in practice:
A show that moves outside its usual window โ schedule slip, a holiday special, clocks
changing โ will be missed. There's no id to fall back on, only the
window.
Two different but identically-titled programmes on the same channel and window would
both match (rare in practice, but possible with a generic title like "News").
Widening the window/days catches more schedule variance, at the cost of also catching
more of whatever else might air nearby under the same title.
Rule of thumb: keep the window as tight as comfortably fits the show's usual start time,
and lean on the per-link recording buffer to absorb ordinary schedule
slip rather than widening the window itself.
The window is matched in your own browser's local time โ the same time
shown in the EPG grid โ not a time zone read off the guide data itself, which isn't always
trustworthy. That's captured when you save the link, so editing an existing one from a
different device or time zone without re-checking the start/end times will reinterpret
them in the new one.
